Walk-O-Run Event Terms and Conditions
Registration and Participation
- Registrations are non-refundable, non-transferable, and cannot be modified. Please choose your event carefully before confirming your registration.
- Provide a valid and secure email address along with phone number for communication, as all event updates will be shared via email. The organizers are not responsible for any issues arising due to inaccessible or incorrect email addresses.
Participant Responsibility
- By registering, participants acknowledge that long-distance running is an extreme sport that may involve physical risk, including injury or health complications.
- Participants take full responsibility for their participation and release the organizing committee, Heartwise, and all associated entities from liability for any injury, illness, loss, or damage incurred during the event.
- Participants must follow instructions provided by Heartwise authorities, medical staff, or aid station volunteers and stop running if advised to do so
T-Shirt Sizes:
- Participants must ensure that the t-shirt size selected in the registration form is accurate. The organizing committee will not entertain requests for exchanges or alterations during or after collection.
Age Restrictions and Considerations:
- The minimum age to register for the 21K Half Marathon is 15 years, with age calculated as of 16th February 2025.
- For participants who are minors, full responsibility and accountability rest with the participant and their guardian.
- For all registrations and prize distributions in specific categories, the participant’s age will be considered as of 16th February 2025.
Safety and Medical Emergencies
- Participation is at your own risk and will. The organizers will not be responsible for any injury, health issues, or medical emergencies during the event.
- The organizers and Heartwise are not liable for any loss of personal belongings, theft, or stolen items during the event. Participants are advised to take full care of their belongings.
Event Conduct and Guidelines
- Participants agree to abide by all event rules and instructions issued by the organizers or their representatives.
- Media recordings (photos, videos, etc.) taken during the event may be used for promotional purposes by Heartwise and associated entities. Participants consent to such usage by registering
Weather and External Factors
- In the event of adverse weather conditions, major incidents, or threats, the organizers reserve the right to cancel, postpone, alter the route or stop the event. In such cases, registrations and merchandise orders remain non-refundable and non-transferable
Communication
- All communication with participants will be done via email and messages. Any notices sent to the registered email address will be considered as received.
Additional Guidelines
- Please ensure you are physically fit and prepared to participate in the event. It is recommended to consult a physician if you have any health concerns.
- Stay hydrated and use the aid stations provided along the route for assistance if needed
- Respect other participants and volunteers. Misconduct or violations of rules may lead to disqualification
